The majority of VIDFEST events will be held on Granville Island, Vancouver, BC. Granville Island is a restored industrial site right on the water. The Island features a famous public market, theatres, restaurants, artist studios, shops, an art school, and a hotel. Named “Best Neighbourhood in North America” by the New York-based Project for Public Spaces. Other venues include the Vancouver Art Gallery and Great Northern Way Campus.
