TRANSPORTATION
From the airport:
Taxi:
Taxi fares are approximately $25-35 to downtown Vancouver depending on traffic. To catch a cab in Vancouver call: 604-731-1111 or 604-681-1111.
Airport Bus Service:
A regular scheduled airport bus service operates between the airport and downtown Vancouver.
Departure times from the airport:
- International Terminal - every 20 minutes from 8:55 to 21:25.
- Domestic Terminal - every 20 minutes from 9:00 to 21:30.
The Airporter bus is located on the International and Domestic Arrivals level curb. No reservations required. Tickets may be purchased at the Airporter counter, their pickup locations or on the motor coach. The fare is $13 one way / $20 round trip. See www.yvrairporter.com for more info.
TransLink (Public) Bus:
Catch bus, #424 “Airport Station” located at the Ground Level of the Domestic Terminal then transfer to #98 B-line “Burrard Station” at Airport Station. This bus will take you to downtown Vancouver.

Walking:
Granville Island, the location of this year’s VIDFEST, is a very walkable area close to many restaurants, a large market, shops, theatres, and artist workshops. From Granville Island, you can also take the bus or a little commuter ferry to downtown.
