The votes are in and the gala Awards ceremony has announced this year’s PopVox winners.

PopVox (from vox populi – L. voice of the people) is the people’s choice awards for the Vancouver International Digital Festival. The deadline for entries was April 30, 2008. It’s free to submit. Online voting determines the winners.
The PopVox awards recognizes and celebrates the creativity, talent, and achievements of the digital media industry. Prizes are awarded in these eleven categories:
Best Digital VFX
Best Animated Short
Best Digital/Viral Campaign
Best User Generated/Crowdsourced Content Site
Best Score
Best Game for Console/PC
Best Casual Game
Best Mobile Application
Best Mobile Game
