Hi, This is Michael Tippett from NowPublic. Throughout the day I’ll be posting my thoughts on this blog. Most of my commentary has to do with media, the news business and how new technology is changing the way we collect, organized and distribute information — particularly news information.
Today’s big news story is the earthquake in China and there have been a number of interesting examples of how things like Twitter, Flickr, Youtube and citizen journalism are helping to fill in the gaps that traditional news organizations can’t cover.
