PopVox is back! Get in there.
The call for submissions to the PopVox awards is out. The people’s choice awards for the digital media community is looking for the best in 10 categories:
Best Digital VFX - Best Animated Short - Best Digital/Viral Campaign - Best User Generated/Crowdsourced Content Site - Best Score - Best Game for Console/PC - Best Casual Game - Best Mobile Application - Best Mobile Game and a Homegrown Award for Best BC Based Venture!
Submissions are made online and so is voting. I just checked out the site and saw that they’re already getting a pile of entries. Crowdsourcing is one hot category. Submissions include the collaborative comic-making site Zeroes 2 Heroes and Protagonize (what a name!), an interactive fiction writing community.
Deadline dates are: April 30, 2008 for submissions and May 12, 2008 for voting. The winners will be announced on May 23rd. You could be the one the people love, really, really love.
